The Recreation Director and Programmer are responsible for the planning, organizing, and operation of the cultural, athletic, and recreational activities in the City. They work in cooperation with other groups and individuals to carry out these activities throughout the year.

2019 Mint Festival Tournaments

Summer Swim Programs are NOW POSTED!

The City of St. Johns is now accepting registrations for Summer Swim Lessons. Necessary maintenance on the high school pool will be completed in time for programs to begin June 24th. For information on swim lessons, classes, and open swim, please see our program guide

Summer Adult Leagues

The City of St. Johns is no longer accepting registrations for the 2019 Summer Adult Leagues. Click here for more information about the Sand Volleyball Leagues.

Adult Open Gym Pickleball

The City of St. Johns is excited to offer this new adult program this fall/winter. Pickleball is a fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. This program will take place on Tuesday mornings starting the weeks of January 7th, Thursday nights 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, at the Wilson Center Gym. The cost to take part in this program is $4 per night or you can purchase an open gym pass for $20 good for 6 visits.

Adult Open Gym Volleyball

If you are looking to play volleyball in a fun, easy going environment, this is the place to be! This adult program takes place on Monday nights starting January 7th from 7:30 to 9:30 running through April 29th, at the Wilson Center Gym. The cost to take part in this program is $4 per night or you can purchase an open gym pass for $20 good for 6 visits.
